I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years experience in Mental Health care. I have worked with diverse populations ages 4 to senior adults. My experience is extensive and varied across multiple settings. I have provided inpatient and outpatient treatment in community mental health agencies, homeless and emergency shelters, as well as inpatient mental health care and crisis intervention. I have experience working with children and adolescents in foster care or residential placement and have experience with case work and coordination of services with law enforcement, county and state agencies. Additionally, I worked in Academics both as a Counselor and Educator.

I am a Licensed Social Worker, currently working on obtaining my LCSW. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, teens and adults with mental health and substance abuse issues. I have 5 wonderful children, an amazing granddaughter, and a very cute fur baby. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading and watching cooking shows. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

During my undergraduate internship, I had the opportunity to engage with and support clients who were overcoming trauma, substance use, and mental health concerns. My professional experience spans over 15 years across demographics in various settings. My primary goal is to assist my clients in cultivating a healthy and balanced life that fosters a sense of purpose and meaning. I firmly believe that through a guided process of self-awareness, self-regulation, and coping strategies, clients can embark on and sustain their journey toward recovery.
